My vel turned on and after a few minutes my epc light will turn on. Had my car checked and it says random misfire and faulty vacuum leak. Does anyone know what that might be. I cleaned my throttle body and changed my plugs.
i had to find the same leak when i saw the EPC light come on , still does from time to time due to the fact that i didnt buy a new brake booster vacuum hose .....so for now its tape ,...but before that the engine had a really rough idle and the brake peddle sank to the floor boards. Noticed that the hose with the check valve was 60 bucks so tape was my only option ....good luck
just find the same problem on my 07 vw rabbit 2.5. 2279code,. check the hose that connect brake booster to the engine, this tipe off plastic broke realy easy that hose keep me worry for 7 days until I FIND IT!!!!!!.., good luck
