2013 VW Jetta Hybrid P0556 Error: Persistent Brake Pressure Issue After Multiple Repairs
I'm experiencing a persistent P0556 fault code on my 2013 USA-market VW Jetta Hybrid. Initially, the brake pressure pump failed and was replaced. However, the new pump only worked for one week before overheating. Subsequently, I replaced the brake pressure sensor (part number 0 261 230 081), the brake pressure relay (8K0 951 253), and the vacuum pump (1K0 612 181B). The vacuum pump fuse (30A) was also replaced. All vacuum lines and the vacuum booster have been checked and are functioning properly. Despite these repairs, the P0556 diagnostic code remains active and cannot be cleared from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The sensor appears to be working correctly, but the PCM continues to detect an issue. I'm seeking advice on possible root causes or further troubleshooting steps for this recurring error in my VW Jetta Hybrid.
