VW Golf 2.0 TDI DPF Issue: Fault Codes P2458 and P0304 Leading to Limp Mode at 68-000 Miles

Hi everyone, I recently had a complete engine failure on my 2.0 TDI VW Golf at 68,000 miles due to diesel runaway. As a result, I replaced the entire engine with a new turbo unit and had the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) professionally cleaned. However, after reinstallation, when I try to start the car, it enters limp mode and only runs up to 3,000 RPM. The onboard diagnostic system shows fault codes P2458 (DPF system malfunction) and P0304 (cylinder 4 misfire). This issue has occurred in other VW Golf 2.0 TDI owners as well—has anyone else experienced this after a full engine replacement or DPF cleaning? Any insights, troubleshooting steps, or known fixes would be greatly appreciated.
