p0341 on vw cabrio
i have a 96 vw cabrio the code p0341 it says cam position sensor . but everone says my car dose not have one ,cant find it in the book . help please TIA (need to get to work) thanks

Your Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) is internal to the distributor. What drivability symptoms are you experiencing, if any?

I assume you don't have a repair manual for your car?
Some cars do generate that dtc when the engine is suffering from a misfire or high resistance in the ignition components! Your local vw dealer or an independent with some training and experience on vw's should be able to track it down!
