Model: Unknown Fault Code: U0104 Posted: 2019-12-05 14:56

Hi everyone, I'm experiencing a persistent U0104 fault — 'Lost Communication with Cruise Control Module' — on my 2019 Skoda Octavia. The error is registered in the Auto Transmission module (J743) and persists even after multiple visits to service. The issue started after a recalibration of the Front Assist Module. While the service center successfully completed the Front Assist calibration, they were unable to clear the U0104 error from the Auto Transmission module. They have since stated that the fault cannot be erased and have not performed any further diagnostics or checks on related systems. Detailed DTC Information: Address: 02 - Auto Transmission (J74-3) Fault Found: 21193 - No Communication with Cruise Control Module U0104 [00] [047] - Confirmed, Tested Since Memory Clear Freeze Frame Data: - Fault Status: 00000001 - Fault Priority: 0 - Mileage: [not provided] - Date & Time: [not provided] - Engine Speed: 7942.25 rpm - Engine Torque: -100 Nm - Vehicle Speed: 69 km/h - Control Module Temperature: 79 °C - Current Pressure: -9.5 bar - Clutch Status: Primary clutch in 'Driving' mode - Selected Gear: GANG_6 - Driving Position: N (Neutral) - Accelerator Position: 0.0% - DTC Memory Status: 45568 I'm wondering if this is a known issue related to the Front Assist recalibration, or whether there's a deeper communication problem between the Cruise Control Module and the Auto Transmission module. Has anyone else encountered this U0104 error on their 2019 Skoda Octavia after a Front Assist Module update? Any suggestions for troubleshooting or potential fixes? Thanks in advance for your insights!
