Error Codes U0122 and 27-15 for Steering Angle Sensor - Help Needed on Toyota/Honda Vehicle
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum. I recently purchased a used car and noticed unusual behavior during driving. The mechanic suggested replacing an ABS sensor, which I did. After installation, the warning light disappeared. However, when I drive above 10 mph, the traction control light comes on, and the vehicle feels like it's being 'high-jacked'—unstable and jerky. To troubleshoot, I unplugged the steering angle sensor and took it back to the shop. They scanned the system and returned two error codes: U0122 and 27--15 (Steering Angle Sensor). I'm not sure what these mean or how to fix them. Can anyone provide insight into these specific diagnostic codes and their implications for steering angle sensor functionality? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
