Model: Unknown Fault Code: P0174 Posted: 2013-09-17 18:50

Hi everyone, I'm currently troubleshooting persistent OBD2 trouble codes: P0172 (Rich Mix Bank 2), P0174 (Rich Mix Bank 2), and P0175 (Rich Mix Bank 3) on my 2004 Chrysler Concorde with a 3.5L engine. I recently replaced the Mass Airflow (MAP) sensor, but the codes persist. I'm not sure what else to check next. Any insights or diagnostic steps would be greatly appreciated! Additional details: The vehicle runs smoothly and does not exhibit stalling or poor performance under normal driving conditions.

Thank you for the prompt response! I've just returned from out-of-town work, so my reply was delayed. Yes, the car runs fine under normal conditions. I'll start checking the items you mentioned — especially fuel pressure and EGR valve operation. Is there a specific diagnostic code associated with an EGR valve sticking? Does the valve close properly when RPMs increase? I don't currently have freeze frame data or fuel trim readings, but I'll gather that information as soon as possible. Thanks again for your help!
