2013 Ford Fiesta 1.6L DOHC: U3000 Code Appears After ABS Light Flashes On/Off During Startup
Hi, I'm having an issue with my 2013 Ford Fiesta 1.6L DOHC. Every time I start the car, the ABS light comes on. After warming up the engine and turning it off, when I restart the vehicle, the ABS light goes off. Using an OBD2 scanner (FD500), I see a fault code indicating 'booster pump state inactive'. Upon inspection, I found that the master cylinder piston was leaking, so I replaced the master cylinder and bled the brake system. After this repair, the fault code disappeared temporarily. However, when I turn the key to the 'on' position (without starting), everything seems fine — the ABS light is off. But as soon as I start the engine, the ABS light comes back on. I've tried clearing the code with the scanner, but it returns every time after restarting. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Khriskumar
In addition to the U3000 code, does your braking system and power steering function normally under all driving conditions?
