I'm experiencing a P1126 fault on my 2002 Toyota Hiace 2.5 D4D. The engine starts and idles at approximately 1000 RPM without any engine warning light initially. After about one minute, the RPM drops to around 850 RPM, the engine light activates, and the vehicle is unable to rev beyond 2 RPM. However, if I gently press the accelerator pedal during startup, the engine can rev freely without triggering the check engine light. Once the car sits at idle, the engine light returns after a short period. This behavior suggests an issue with the oxygen sensor or related emissions system, specifically linked to the P1126 diagnostic code.
