Hi everyone, I own a 2007 Seat Altea diesel model. Recently, several dashboard lights have come on, including the Engine Management, ABS, and others. The speedometer has stopped working entirely, the indicators function intermittently before failing, and the diesel warning light is illuminated even though fuel is present in the tank. After connecting a diagnostic tool, the vehicle returned a P0600 fault code — indicating a serial communication link issue. I'm looking for advice on possible causes and an estimate of repair costs.
