2014 Toyota RX 400h P0560 C1241 C1300 U0129 Fault After Battery Disconnection - Gas Door Not Opening, Rear View Camera Failure
I recently experienced a series of issues with my 2014 Toyota RX 400h after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. The primary symptom is that the cabin button to open the gas door no longer functions — it doesn't make any sound or release the door, even though the manual release in the trunk works perfectly (the spring mechanism is intact). Using a multimeter, I observed very brief voltage drops on the gas door fuse during button presses, which suggests that the button press is being registered by the system. However, no pressure release occurs when opening the tank, so now I have to manually pop open the door before removing the cap. This also means that during refueling, the fuel filler handle keeps popping repeatedly, forcing me to hold it out of position and estimate fill volume. After disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, the dashboard displayed multiple warning lights initially. These warnings gradually disappeared over two days of driving on and off. The only persistent issue remains: the check engine light stays on, and the rear view camera no longer activates when shifting into reverse — the camera itself works fine, but the head unit fails to switch to its display. I used an OBD2 scanner and retrieved several diagnostic codes: - P0560 (Fuel Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction) - C1241 (Gas Door Control Module Issue) - C1300 (Gas Door Actuator or Solenoid Fault) - U0129 (Loss of Communication Between Vehicle and Rear View Camera Module) I am unsure whether the battery disconnection caused any electrical damage, as my battery was tested 5 months ago and showed a capacity of approximately 93%, indicating good health. I suspect that one or more ECU modules may have been affected during the process. Any insights into these codes and their potential causes in a 2014 RX 400h would be greatly appreciated, especially regarding whether this is a known issue after battery disconnection or if it points to deeper hardware failure.
