Olds Aurora P0151 and P0300 Codes After Fuel Fill-Up - Diagnosis and Fix
My Olds Aurora has developed a serious issue after a recent fuel refill. Previously, the car was running fine, but after driving approximately 70 miles and refueling, I noticed that the Check Engine Light, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), and Traction Control lights all illuminated and remained on. Using an OBD2 scanner, I retrieved two diagnostic trouble codes: - P0151: Low voltage detected on the oxygen sensor - P0300: Random misfire detected across multiple cylinders The vehicle now runs roughly, especially at lower speeds. It can maintain speed but exhibits noticeable hesitation and roughness. Given that the car is a stock model with 108,000 miles, I’ve already replaced spark plugs, checked coil packs, and installed a new fuel pressure regulator—yet the codes persist. What could be causing this issue? Is it related to fuel quality or an underlying mechanical fault?
The root cause may vary depending on the vehicle's maintenance history and modifications. A thorough inspection is essential.
