2016 Nissan Sentra P0102, P0113, P0846, P0965, and P0712 Diagnostic Issues - Help Needed

Model: Nissan Sentra Fault Code: P0102 Posted: 2019-07-10 16:20

My 2016 Nissan Sentra has been displaying multiple check engine light codes: P0102, P0113, P0846, P0965, and P0712. I replaced the sensor associated with P0102, but the check engine light remains on and the vehicle still exhibits poor driving performance. Additional codes have now appeared. I'm seeking advice on how to properly diagnose and resolve these issues. Any insights into what each code might indicate or potential solutions would be greatly appreciated.

These trouble codes may fall under the manufacturer's warranty coverage, especially if they are related to sensor circuits or emissions components.

My Nissan warranty expired on May 28, 2019. I'm now dealing with post-warranty service costs and am looking for cost-effective solutions.

P0846, P0965, and P0712 are related to transmission or fuel system components. These codes may be covered under the standard 5-year/60,000-mile warranty. However, P0102 and P0113 are sensor/circuit-related issues that might not be fully covered. If possible, request inclusion of these diagnostics in the service plan or ask for a discount since they likely involve simple sensor replacements.

Thank you so much, CJ1! I'll update you tomorrow with what the dealership has said about the diagnosis and repair options.

I have a 2014 Nissan Sentra with P0965 code. I replaced the solenoid, but the problem persists—engine stalls when accelerating, though it starts fine after being turned off and runs normally at idle or when stopped.
