1999 Nissan Pathfinder with P0325, P1105, P1705 and P0731A: Causes and Fixes for Engine Shutdown and Acceleration Issues
My 1999 Nissan Pathfinder (129,000 miles) suddenly shut down while idling and began experiencing repeated stalling. After scanning the vehicle, fault codes were detected: P0325, P1105, and P1705. The next day, during driving, it repeatedly stalled and eventually failed to start. When it finally started, it would not accelerate past 2,000 RPM. A re-scan revealed the same initial codes plus P0731A and P0340. Recent work performed: Intake manifold and valve cover gaskets were replaced, and the ignition coil was changed. Questions: - Could one fault trigger multiple trouble codes? - Is it possible that replacing a single sensor (like the ignition coil) resolves all the other codes? - What should be prioritized for diagnosis and repair? Any insights or recommendations on resolving these issues would be greatly appreciated.
