Nissan Almera 2.2TD Fault Code P1251 P4-SPILL/V CIRC - Engine Won't Start
I own a 2000 Nissan Almera diesel model with a 2.2-liter 2,2TD engine. Suddenly, the vehicle stopped running without any warning signs. I am unable to start it — the engine turns over but does not ignite. Using the X431 diagnostic tool, I retrieved the following fault codes: - P1600 (P3) - Pump communication line issue - P1690 (P5) - Pump circuit/module fault - P1251 (P4) - SPILL/V CIRC (Fuel spill or vapor circulation) I cleared the fault memory, but the engine still will not start. Currently, only P125 or P4-SPILL/V CIRC is displayed. I am unsure what this code means and how critical it is. Can anyone provide insight into this issue? Is it a serious problem that requires immediate repair? Thank you for your help.
The vehicle likely has no fuel pressure, which could be directly related to the P1251 fault code and is preventing engine startup.
