P0443 Purge Control Solenoid Valve Issue - Mitsubishi Colt 2008
We have owned this 2008 Mitsubishi Colt for one month. The engine warning light activated, and after a diagnostic check at the garage, we were given fault code P0443. The garage inspected the system and reported it as normal, then reset the code. However, the warning light returned shortly afterward. The vehicle drives normally under all conditions. We are wondering whether it is safe to continue driving without immediate repairs, especially since our MOT is scheduled later this year. If we return to the garage for another diagnostic, additional costs will likely arise. Does anyone have advice on whether this issue should be addressed now or can be safely deferred until the MOT?
