After approximately 5 seconds of sustained full throttle, the turbocharger shuts off on my 2007 Mercedes E320 CDI (V6) and remains inactive until the engine is restarted. No unusual noises have been heard, and there has been no recent work performed on the vehicle. The car has accumulated around 10,000 km of usage.
