Mazda 2Ltr Petrol Engine Shows Purge Control Valve Fault and Jerking Symptoms
A few days ago, I scanned my Mazda 2Ltr petrol engine using an OBD2 scanner and noticed a weak mixture issue. After addressing the problem, the vehicle's performance improved temporarily. However, the scanner now displays a purge control valve fault. The current symptoms include a noticeable purring sound and intermittent jerking when driving in low gears. The jerking occurs until I accelerate, after which it stops. As soon as I begin to slow down again, the jerking resumes. This behavior is consistent during normal driving conditions and appears to be related to the purge control valve malfunction.
