I recently purchased a 2015 Ford 1500 4x4, and the check engine light is illuminated. The vehicle has thrown an OBD2 P0753 code. However, it's equipped with a manual transmission — likely added as an aftermarket modification. Can the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) be updated to recognize this configuration? Is the P0753 code related to the transmission shift mechanism or a sensor issue in a stick-shift setup?
