Jeep wrangler TJ, 2000, 6cyl. 4.0L Been having the above misfire codes, sometimes the light flashes when I push it on the accelerator, this issue I have been having for over a year now. It is costing me poor gas milage and poor performance. I have replaced many sensor over time, including O2, crankshaft position sensor, camshaft sensor, spark plugs, battery. Cleaned the throttle body, used injector cleaner in my tank and cylinders gasket. Possible areas: Coil pack Valves springs Manifold Cat convertor What would you do?

With jeeps I ask is it STOCK? important! the replacement parts were OEM or what? There are NO other codes? You are using a SCANNER capable of manufacturer specific codes? Some tests - Then do a fuel pressure teat AND fuel pressure leak down test...need instructions Will the scanner read live data- ECT, Ft's, Map- ? How do the spark plugs look- wet, dry, black, tan ?

The jeep has all the replacement parts OEM and sensors in specific. I stopped by a local garage and found that cylinders 3 & 6 weren't firing when we tested the coil pack, so that's something I'm going to replace. I'll see what happens after I change it.
