I recently had my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe brought in for an oil change and spark plug replacement. After the service, the vehicle displayed a P0713 diagnostic trouble code. I suspect that during the oil change, a technician may have accidentally damaged the wiring to the transmission fluid temperature sensor. Is this a plausible scenario? Additionally, I'd like to know whether the sensor is located inside the transmission fluid pan or outside the pan. Any insights from owners or mechanics on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
