Honda civic P0141. I have tried everything to my knowledge
I have a 99 honda civic dx. I put a after market exhuast on it with a test pipe (off road pipe). I had my mechanic splice the wire to my 2nd O2 sensor to it will be long enough to put after the test pipe. Now the car is throwing off a code of P0141 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2). What could be causing this? What could be done to fix it? Thanks for any input
I would probably start by jacking up vehicle, be safe and use jack stands here. Start by checking wiring where it has been spliced and see if it has came apart. Also unplug the O2 connector and see if you have 12 volts and a ground going to sensor, do this with engine cold. If voltages check good might be just a bad sensor. Hope this helps... Mike
