GMC Acadia P0330 Knock Sensor Fault - Vehicle Jerks at 40-80 km/h
Hi, I'm experiencing a serious issue with my GMC Acadia. The vehicle starts to jerk noticeably between 40 and 80 km/h. After scanning the engine, I've received fault code P0330 — Powertrain Knock Sensor 2 Circuit (Bank 2). This code is linked to a potential malfunction in the knock sensor circuit on bank 2 of the engine. I'm looking for advice on how to diagnose and fix this issue. The jerking at higher speeds makes driving uncomfortable and unsafe. Any insights into possible causes or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Yousuf
The most likely cause is a faulty knock sensor connector or wiring. A thorough circuit test and continuity check are recommended to confirm the issue before replacing any components.
