I'm experiencing a P1093 diagnostic trouble code on my 2005 GMC 2500HD diesel truck. The engine sputters, runs roughly, and will not exceed 2000 RPM under load. This issue is likely related to low fuel pressure, which is indicated by the P1093 code and often associated with a P0087 code (fuel rail/system pressure too low). I suspect the fuel filter may be clogged and requires replacement. Any advice or confirmation on this would be greatly appreciated.
