need sticker code p0443 03 ford explorer

the code does not say replace valve ? Did you check for voltage at the valve? connector tight? corrosion free? W key in pocket -ground circuit NOT grounded

The PCM expects to see battery voltage when the purge valve solenoid is commanded off and voltage under 1 volt when the solenoid is commanded on.2 wires....red power feed and light green/black wire is the control wire.backprobe with a t-pin the connector....key on should have battery voltage on red wire.....now backprobe the light green/black wire......should be battery voltage also on this control wire being that the pcm driver is not grounding this circuit with key on engine off......if you only have battery voltage on red wire chances are you have an open in the purge solenoid winding.purge solenoid located left front of engine compartment. Typical resistance is 50 to 100 ohms.if you have battery voltage on both wires at connector when backprobed could be a problem with control wire or driver or connector issue.....most of the time it is the solenoid.
