00 Escalade. Tranny won't shift into forward gears. P1153
00' Escalade, won't go forward, but shifts into reverse fine. It's like being in neutral. Local dealer did a diagnostic, and said it's not mechanical in the tranny but outside electronic. Three codes I know are for O2 issues, but P1153 I don't know. He wrote down, H025 B2-SI insufficient switching, but no explanation on what that is. I want to replace whats wrong my self but can't find an explanation. Can some one shed some light on this for me please.
o2 codes would NOT cause a trans shift issue. the P1153 is a o2 issue likely related to one of the codes you did NOT add to post. I would suggest you try a FREE scan at -autozone, advance, orielys type part stores- get and post any and all codes... Any recient work? is there a remote starter or aftermarket alsrm? That may offer a clue.
