02 Dodge ram 4.7 p0351
I just got a 02 dodge ram with a 4.7 and its putting out a p0351. Ive replaced the number one coil and it didnt help. The connector looks good and so does the wiring harness.

Its runing rough at low idle if you idle it up it runs fine. Also when you first start it before it idles down. I deleted the code and it hasnt came back but it runs the same.

Intermittent hard to pin down unless you can recreate it. Coil already been changed so.. If mechanical, coil connector/wiring can be jiggled around to try recreate misfire. If fuel, injector can be cleaned. if compression, cylinder can be tested for air leaks. Idle rough lower than normal. Plugs/throttle body/IAC valve clean/check for normal operation. Use a scan tool to look at the general health of the engine, fuel trims, sensors etc. Check freeze frame data when P0351 sets to give idea under what conditions misfire occurring.
Check the trouble codes this forum for causes/solutions. Presently misfiring or intermittent? Is it a hard misfire/check engine light flashing? If so can damage cat converter best not to drive until fixed.
