P0306 Fault Diagnosis for 2004-2010 Dodge Dakota 4.7L Engine
I'm having trouble diagnosing the P0306 fault code on my 2004-2010 Dodge Dakota with a 4.7L V8 engine. The check engine light is on, and the OBD2 scanner shows a misfire detected in cylinder #6. I've tried basic troubleshooting but can't pinpoint the exact cause. Could this be related to spark issues, faulty ignition coil, or a clogged fuel injector? I'm also wondering if there's a vacuum leak at cylinder #6 that might be contributing to the problem. Cylinder #6 misfire - check for proper spark using a noid light: is the injector pulsing (flashing) or steady? If no flash, it may indicate a faulty fuel injector.
