No start. No info on cluster. No wipers or blower or radio or blinkers. Basically no power. Only code u1000 on ABS and Airbag and radio. New PCM Bcm cluster. Seems to have no communication. Have checked for short on entire class 2 system. All power to BCM is good. Need ideas
When i got the truck it had the same symptoms. Scanned and had code for bad BCM. replaced and ran codes again said no signal from pcm. got one supposed to be plug and play still nothing. have had system completely disconnected and looking for open in wires from bcm to airbag to brake to pcm found no short to ground or power. on the scanner can get data from everything and have checked the volts to and from ignition switch...all good. read that vehicle power mode wont happen untill communication begins. dont have lab scope but have used multimeter on ac scale and looked for signals all over the truck and compared to a truck at work that runs and they look almost identical. i took truck to local dealer to get bcm programmed they said only programming is for theft deterrant which i can do myself but they charged $100. its like the truck doesnt know key is turned on
Why did you replace the PCM and BCM? history would help make sense of issue.... I believe the modules need programming. the BCM (experiance) and PCM has a complex replacement procedure.
