2009 Chevrolet Traverse P0122 Code: Causes and Fixes After Fuel and Sensor Repairs

Last Friday, while driving my 2009 Chevrolet Traverse, the vehicle suddenly died. It was previously showing misfire codes on cylinders 3 and 5. I replaced both coils and spark plugs, as well as the fuel pump and accelerator pedal sensor. The throttle body was also replaced. Despite these repairs, the car now displays a P0122 diagnostic trouble code. What could be causing this issue? Any insights or troubleshooting steps for this specific code on my 2009 Traverse?

Check the official wiring schematic at http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb. A P0122 code typically indicates one or more of the following: TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) not securely mounted, a short to ground or another wire in the TPS circuit, or a faulty TPS. My husband test the ground, and it is testing at 4.7 volts, but we had to take the battery out and put it on the charger because it was getting depleted. He got the battery back on, and now the car is flipping three codes: P0336, P0122, P0223.

Refer to the engine/fuel system wiring diagram — the crankshaft position sensor (CKP), throttle body (TB), and accelerator pedal position (APP) share a common ground and a common 5V power feed. Ensure both 5V supply and ground connections are secure and functioning properly before diagnosing further.
