Hi everyone, I'm looking for help with a P0546 fault on my 2005 Mercedes-Benz C200 CDI. The car has a diesel engine with a DPF system and the check engine light (EML) is coming on due to the ECU detecting an excessively hot exhaust temperature. The issue appears to be related to the exhaust heat sensor (EGT) for Bank 1, located near the catalytic converter. We're trying to rewire this sensor into the existing wiring loom so that the ECU can properly detect the exhaust temperature. However, we cannot locate the wire harness end or find a pinout diagram for the ECU's connection points. Can anyone provide a reliable pinout schematic for the ECU wiring related to Bank 1 exhaust heat sensor? This would allow us to safely rewire the sensor and resolve the P0546 fault without damaging the DPF system. Any guidance or resources on this specific model would be greatly appreciated.
