My 2012 Audi A4 1.8 model is experiencing a sudden start-and-shutdown issue accompanied by a Stabilisation Control (ESC) fault. Using an OBD2 scanner, I've identified the following diagnostic trouble codes: P0642 (Sensor Reference Voltage A Circuit Low), P0606 (ECM/PCM Processor Malfunction), and P0638 (Throttle Actuator Control Range/Performance - Bank 1). The vehicle starts but shuts down immediately after. I need clarification on the actual location of the sensor referenced in P0642, as well as guidance on how to properly diagnose and resolve these issues. According to the owner's manual, ESC system faults are critical and require immediate attention.

Iyoh!!! Thank you so much! This is very helpful. I'll check all components including pedal position sensor, throttle position sensor, throttle actuator motor, throttle body cleanliness, wiring harness connections, and verify PCM/ECM functionality before replacing any parts.
