1999 S10 Blazer P1345 Diagnostic: Fix After Installing 2004 4.3L Engine
I recently installed a 2004 4.3L V6 engine into my 1999 Chevrolet S10 Blazer. The vehicle runs smoothly and starts easily now, but it consistently throws diagnostic code P1345. I've already removed and re-adjusted the distributor, and while the initial starting difficulty improved, the issue persists. Despite the smooth operation, the P1345 code continues to appear in the OBD2 system. What could be causing this error? Is there a specific sensor or wiring issue related to the new engine installation that I should investigate?
