1999 Malibu OBD2 Fault Codes P0108 and P0118 - Barometric Pressure Reading at 9.4 psi KOEO
My 1999 Chevrolet Malibu is showing two OBD-II fault codes: P0108 and P0118. During a KOEO (Key On, Engine Off) test, the barometric pressure reading is 9.4 psi. A new MAP sensor was installed several months ago, but the issue persists. I'm seeking help to diagnose whether this is related to the MAP sensor or another component. Please advise on possible causes and diagnostic steps.
Could you confirm which engine variant you have — 3.1L V6 or 2.4L? Are there any other fault codes present? Please check the freeze frame data for recent conditions. P0108 (3.1L V6, VIN J, Automatic) - MAP Sensor Circuit High Input >>> During KOEO, what is the voltage reading on the BRN (Brown) wire? Specifically on the LT/GRN (Light Green) wire. P0118 (3.1L V-6, VIN J, Automatic) - ECT Sensor Circuit High Input >>> During KOEO, what is the voltage on the YEL (Yellow) wire and the BLK/WHT (Black/White) wire?
