1999 Ford F-150 5.4L Engine Light On with P0171 and P0174 Codes After MAF Sensor Replacement

The service engine light has come on, displaying trouble codes P0171 and P0174 on my 1999 Ford F-150 with a 5.4L V8 engine. I recently replaced the Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor two weeks ago, but did not disconnect the battery during the replacement. Could this have caused or contributed to the current fault codes? I'm concerned about whether the electrical system or ECU was affected and if there's a need for further diagnostics or reset procedures.
