Some information is missing — the only code present is P0102, with no other diagnostic trouble codes or symptoms reported. The vehicle has a brute-force cold air intake (CAI) installed; however, all wire splices have been checked for continuity and are intact. The MAF sensor has three wires: black (ground), yellow (signal), and tan (power). I'm seeing 5.6 volts on one wire and erratic readings on the other. The black wire is confirmed as ground. There's no 12-volt supply on any of the signal or power wires. I've replaced the MAF sensor with a new unit, but after clearing the code, P0102 returns consistently. The truck stalls when accelerating from idle and bucks slightly during gentle throttle release at steady speeds — specifically around 70 mph. When I slowly let off the gas to cruise, it stumbles once near full deceleration, which mirrors the behavior observed during idle. This suggests a potential issue with either the MAF sensor or its signal circuit. Since the code persists after replacing the MAF and readings remain abnormal, I suspect the MAF signal circuit (or related components like IAT) may be compromised. Note: The MAF signal is not measured in volts but in frequency (Hertz). Voltage readings on the yellow wire are misleading — proper diagnosis requires checking for consistent frequency output. Recommendation: Consider reverting to stock air intake and verify MAF and IAT circuit integrity. If the issue resolves, it points directly to airflow or sensor wiring problems. Let me know your findings on the MAF and IAT circuits so we can further troubleshoot.
