1997 Tahoe P0108, P0122 & P1345 Fault Codes - Intake Gasket Replacement Not Resolving Issue

Model: 97 Tahoe Fault Code: P0108 Posted: 2017-04-11 12:28

After replacing the intake manifold gasket on my 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe, I'm still experiencing fault codes P0108, P0122, and P1345. The check engine light has come on for the first time. The only noticeable symptoms are intermittent hesitation at 70 mph and a rough idle when starting the vehicle. I've confirmed that the intake gasket was indeed faulty and replaced it properly. However, these codes persist. I'm looking for guidance on how to diagnose and resolve these specific issues without further engine damage.

P0108 - Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Circuit High Voltage P0122 - Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage A diagnostic scanner is recommended to monitor live data and check actual sensor voltages. First, inspect the MAP and TPS sensor connectors for tightness, corrosion, or bent pins. A pinched wiring harness could also be contributing to these issues. P134- Crankshaft Position (CKP) and Camshaft Position (CMP) Correlation Error This code typically indicates that the distributor is misaligned—either installed incorrectly, slightly off, or with a missing tooth. The CKP and CMP sensors do not agree on Top Dead Center (TDC). Note: Timing should NOT be adjusted by manually moving the distributor. Instead, use a scanner to set the correct offset. There are available YouTube tutorials that explain how to properly adjust the distributor offset. Please update with your findings so we can assist further.
