I own a 1997 Taurus SHO that is currently throwing diagnostic code P1121, indicating an inconsistency between the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and the Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF). I have already replaced the MAF sensor and verified the TPS operation; however, the code persists. Additionally, I recently replaced the spark plugs along with both upper and lower intake gaskets, but the issue remains unresolved. Despite these efforts, I am unable to clear the P1121 code or resolve the underlying problem. I'm seeking advice from experienced owners or mechanics on how to properly diagnose and fix this specific fault in my 1997 Taurus SHO.
