When was a tune-up done last? We recommend using parts recommended by the manufacturer.

How many miles? Check to make sure the injector is being commanded on/off. Like mohawkmtrs said, has a complete tune been performed? Check fuel pressure. Could perform compression test. Could try swapping wires. Check the distributor cap for corrosion, burned terminals, etc.

Thanks guys for the response. Ill find out when was the last tune up and how many miles.Genuine A/C Delco stuff is a good suggestion and a compression test to is a good sugestion to.

Ok, being a honest technician I will let you know something. Take off the fuel rail and remove all 8 injectors. On the number 7 look for rust build up. Clean fuel rail and the top of the injectors off with a can of brake clean. Blow air through fuel rail and repeat step 1. Replace assembly and missfire will be gone. GM bulletin about fuel line rust on these vehicles. Deposits will sit back and clog the injector because of no return line like on the driver side.
