1996 Toyota Tercel EGR Flow Insufficient - No EGR Temperature Sensor?
I've thoroughly checked all possible components and everything appears to be functioning correctly. However, I'm unable to locate a repair manual that addresses this specific issue. My 1996 Toyota Tercel does not have an EGR temperature sensor—what component controls the EGR flow instead? I've already inspected the EGR valve, modulator, replaced all vacuum lines, checked for blockages, verified the switching relay, and tested the water temperature switch. Despite these checks, the EGR flow remains insufficient. Any insights or guidance on how to diagnose or resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
