P0172 Fault After Timing Belt Replacement on 1996 Dodge Intrepid 3.5L

I own a 1996 Dodge Intrepid with a 3.5L engine. I recently completed the replacement of both the timing belt and water pump. Since the work was finished, the vehicle has started running roughly and now displays diagnostic code P0172 — indicating a rich fuel mixture in Bank 1. Could this be caused by the timing belt jumping a sprocket during installation? Or is there another issue I may have inadvertently introduced?
