I'm experiencing a P1300 diagnostic error on my 1995 Ford Ranger equipped with a 2.4-liter engine. The only related issue I've found is a suspected boost failure. However, I'm using an OBDII scanner on a vehicle that originally had OBDI system support, and I'm relying on an OBDII-compatible configuration (based on a 1996 model) to get any readings at all. Given this setup, will the diagnostic result be reliable enough to pass emissions or inspection?
