2022 Chevrolet Duramax Diesel P2459 Code: Recurring Issue After Particulate Filter Replacement
I own a 2022 Chevrolet 3500 Duramax with 26,000 miles and am currently experiencing a recurring P2459 diagnostic code. I took the vehicle to a GM dealership, where they replaced the particulate filter. However, the same P2459 code reappeared during the next trip. Despite multiple attempts, both the dealer and GM technical support have been unable to identify or resolve the issue. Additionally, I notice a buzzing noise when accelerating, especially while towing a 53-foot race car trailer. The vehicle is otherwise functioning well, but this persistent fault code and unusual sound are concerning. Has anyone else encountered this P2459 error on their 2022 Duramax? I recommend taking the vehicle to a different GM dealership for diagnosis. As a newer model, the dealership should have access to the latest service bulletins and technical updates that may address this specific P2459 issue.
