2016 Chevrolet Cruze Stalls Mid-Drive with P0700, P305D, and U0100 Codes - After ECM Replacement
My 2016 Chevrolet Cruize has been experiencing severe driving issues after an ECM replacement at a dealership. The car will stall unexpectedly while driving and fail to crank over when attempting to restart. Multiple check engine light codes have appeared, including P0700, P305D, and U0100. I've already received service alerts for Stabilotrak and Brake Assist. As a result, I'm considering replacing the cam position sensor, crankshaft position sensor, and starter. I previously took the vehicle to Fairway Chevrolet, which failed to resolve the issue despite charging fees—leading to an attorney general investigation and a refund. The car has 60,000 miles and is my wife's primary work vehicle; she currently relies on my work truck, which is being heavily stressed. A timely fix would greatly improve our daily operations. Any technical insights or troubleshooting steps for these specific codes are highly appreciated.
Have you checked if your vehicle's DLC (Data Link Connector) is properly connected and if any diagnostic tools are plugged in? Are there any aftermarket electrical components or accessories installed that could interfere with the engine control system?
