2015 VW Jetta 2.0L with P2251, P0130, and P0030 Error Codes - Oxygen Sensor or Wiring Issue?

Model: 2015 Jetta Fault Code: P0030 Posted: 2019-06-15 08:19

Hello everyone, I own a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0L with approximately 38,000 km (almost new). Recently, the check engine light has come on and remains steady. I took the vehicle to a service center for diagnostics, which revealed three trouble codes: - P2251 - P0130 - P0030 I'm trying to understand what's causing these issues. Is it likely due to poor fuel quality or a failing oxygen sensor? Specifically, could the B1S1 oxygen sensor be at fault? The diagnostic report is attached for reference. The P0130 and P2251 codes strongly suggest a failure of the B1S1 oxygen sensor. These codes are commonly linked to faulty oxygen sensors or related wiring issues. It's worth checking for loose connections, corrosion, or damaged wires in the sensor circuit. For more details on these trouble codes, refer to discussions in this forum.

Service technicians mentioned a possible circuit issue—such as a broken wire or poor connection—and are recommending they inspect the wiring and sensor harness before proceeding with any replacement.
