P0299 and P0456 Fault on 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost: Passenger Side Air Pressure Noise During Acceleration
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and to Ford vehicles, so please forgive any technical inaccuracies in my explanation. I own a used 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost and am currently experiencing a noticeable 'pressure or air' noise coming from the passenger side cabin. The sound becomes louder as I accelerate and disappears when I engage cruise control — it seems to stop abruptly at certain speeds. Yesterday, while driving in sports mode and pushing high RPMs, the noise became extremely loud, which triggered both fault codes P0299 and P0456. After clearing these codes with an OBD2 scanner, they reappear only when I accelerate hard. I believe there is a leak somewhere in the system, but I'm not sure where exactly. Any insights or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated? I'm based in the UAE, where qualified Ford mechanics are limited and repair shops can be expensive. While I know professionals can fix it, I'd prefer to understand the root cause before taking it to a workshop. Any help or advice on diagnosing this issue would be very much appreciated!
