2014 Ford Transit Jumbo C/C Fault Code P0564: Cruise Control Not Working

I own a 2014 Ford Transit Jumbo with no original cruise control. We recently opened the cruise control module (BCM) and installed a cruise control steering wheel, which functions properly on another van with cruise control. However, after installation, the vehicle still displays fault code P0564 and cruise control does not activate. The cruise control switch itself is working correctly as confirmed by testing in another vehicle. This issue is causing significant frustration. Any insights or solutions for resolving P0564 in a 2014 Ford Transit Jumbo would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mick.
