I have a 2013 Impala. Replaced the MAP sensor. But the car still is throwing codes P0106-MAP/barometric circuit and P2227-barometric press circuit. When the cars at oper. temp it's starts and runs really rough sometimes. Other times it will just die. Doesn't do it all the time tho.
I have a 2013 Chevy Malibu, 2.4L ecotec engine. same thing happened to my car. It would hesitate, idle roughly, and stall sometimes. Every time this happened I received a "Service ESP" message on the dashboard and P0106 and P2227 codes. I replaced the MAP sensor, I replaced the Intake Manifold gaskets, I replaced the Throttle body gasket, replaced the air filter, replaced the MAF sensor, replaced spark plugs, and still the problem persisted. Adding 3 canisters of Wurth CAT/O2 cleaner to a full tank fixed the issue. Of course, you will need to go out on the highway and let it rip. Do that and let me know what happens to you car.
first thought warranty. before I look for TSB's reflashes etc, why not let GM handle this. will need to lnow which engine - is it modified?- any EGR issues?
