I've noticed that my 2012 Volkswagen Golf 2.5L is experiencing harsh shifting into drive and inconsistent gear transitions while driving. A diagnostic scan using the Vgate revealed error code P0720, which points to a faulty Output Speed Sensor (OSS). I'm having difficulty locating an OEM or compatible OSS sensor for my model. Does the 2012 Volkswagen Golf with its sealed automatic transmission use ABS velocity sensors to detect shift timing? If an Output Speed Sensor is required, can anyone provide the correct part number for this component?
