2012 Nissan Sentra P0011 code
I bought this car literally a month ago at about 67700 miles. It now has 69900 miles on it. Before I bought the car the dealer told me they did a full inspection and full fluid change. A few days ago the low oil pressure light kept flashing on when I would brake or go down a hill. Today the service engine soon light came on and I got it checked out by a mechanic who told me that there was low oil in the engine and the extra space caused air to get into the oil pump. After putting fresh oil into the system it is running much better with no light flashing on anymore, however, the service engine light is coming on still and my OBD-II scanner is saying it’s a P0011 (Camshaft “”A”” over-advanced) code. Is it safe to reset the code or should I leave it?
Did you buy it from Dealer? If so, take it back to be fixed. Leave it alone...if adding oil fixed it, the SES light will go out by itself.
